For the first time, TEI will be participating in Diabetes Day Saturday, April 25, 2026. Patients can receive a free professional retina screening from 9 a.m. to noon at the Oak Lane location, 1200 W. Godfrey Ave, in Philadelphia.

In addition to the professional retina screening, patients can expect to have their results on the same day and receive diabetic health education. Faculty and master’s students from the Salus at Drexel University Physician Assistant (PA) Studies program will also be on hand with information on diet and nutrition tips for diabetics.

Advance appointments are required. To make an appointment, call 215.276.6000 and ask for Willistine Jackson.
