Dr. DeMarco will present a review of pattern macular dystrophies with diagnosis, treatment and management options. He is a primary care resident at The Eye Institute of Salus University.

A Controversy in Genetic Testing for AMD

Dr. Charles WormingtonIs it time for optometrists to order genetic tests for their patients? Dr. Wormington, will discuss the controversy over AMD and genetic testing. He is a professor at Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry and a provider at The Eye Institute of Salus University.

The goals of the program are:

  • To develop a network of professionals in order to share information and strengthen clinical knowledge
  • To foster professional development in the optometric community
  • To provide Continuing Education opportunities to alumni and friends of Salus University

These sessions are open to local eyecare providers at no charge. All sessions will be held in the Toland Classroom on the upper level of The Eye Institute from 7:30 am-8:45 am. For your convenience, please use the Spencer Avenue staff and student parking lot and entrance. Light refreshments will be served.
