Dr. Mark Moster
In this lecture, Dr. Mark Moster will review several neuro-ophthalmologic emergencies to assist optometrists in recognizing presentations that need immediate attention to prevent visual loss or adverse medical outcomes.
Dr. Moster is an attending on the Neuro-Ophthalmology Service at Wills Eye Hospital and Professor of Neurology and Ophthalmology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He earned a medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical School in Syracuse, New York, completed a neurology residency at the University of Pittsburgh and a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. He currently holds academic appointments at Drexel University, Temple University and Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Drs. Britchkow and Bhagat will discuss the clinical applications of prosthetic, cosmetic and tinted contact lenses. The presentation will include clinical conditions that can be managed with the use of these contact lenses.
Drs. Britchkow and Bhagat both earned their degrees from Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry and completed a residency in Cornea and Contact Lens at The Eye Institute. Both instructors currently teach in the contact lens courses and precept in the Cornea and Specialty Contact Lens Service at The Eye Institute.

These sessions are open to local eye care providers at no charge. COPE approval has been submitted for these sessions. All sessions will be held in the Toland Classroom on the upper level of The Eye Institute from 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. For your convenience, please use the Spencer Avenue staff and student parking lot and entrance. Light refreshments will be served.
