September 9: Retina Case Conference*

Dr. Dina Gewaily

Dr. Dina GewailyIn this lecture, Dr. Dina Gewaily will review four case studies focused on specialized topics within retinal care.

Dr. Gewaily is an ophthalmologist at Deglin & Greene Retinal Center. She graduated with honors from Brown University’s Medical Program in 2009, having more than 7 years of diverse experience. Following the completion of her internship, Dr. Gewaily completed her residency at Scheie Eye Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, becoming the first female Retina Surgical fellow in the history of the university. She continues to be associated with the Scheie Eye Institute as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology, teaching University of Pennsylvania residency and fellowship students about retinal diseases and surgery.

The goals of the program are:

  • To develop a network of professionals in order to share information and strengthen clinical knowledge
  • To foster professional development in the optometric community
  • To provide Continuing Education opportunities to alumni and friends of Salus University

These sessions are open to local eyecare providers at no charge. All sessions will be held in the Toland Classroom on the upper level of The Eye Institute from 7:30 am-8:45 am. For your convenience, please use the Spencer Avenue staff and student parking lot and entrance. Light refreshments will be served.
