The Eye Institute of Salus University’s second Dining with Diabetes program is set to begin on Thursday, October 22nd! Dining with Diabetes is a free five-week program The Eye Institute coordinates in conjunction with Penn State Cooperative Extension. The program's goal is to help you understand important facts about your own diabetes, and offer helpful ways for management. A registered dietitian or certified diabetes educator will lead discussions regarding planning healthy meals, physical activity ideas, and important numbers to know. Lab tests will be offered to measure HbA1c values. Classes begin on Thursday, October 22nd , and will be held at The Eye Institute's Oak Lane location from 9:30 a.m. - 11: 30 a.m.
