About:
Regina Ward earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications at the University of Delaware. After completing graduate work at Temple University and West Chester University, she received a Master of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders from West Chester University. She has attended post-graduate coursework at Emerson University, Immaculata University, and Penn State University.
Ms. Ward earned the Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She also holds a state teaching certificate for speech correction from the Pennsylvania Department of Education and a PA State License to practice speech-language pathology.
In addition to her work at the Speech-Language Institute of Salus University, Ms. Ward is a speech-language pathologist at Chester County Intermediate Unit, where she teaches preschool speech and language support classes. Her previous experience includes working as a speech-language pathologist at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. She has conducted research in velopharyngeal dysfunction and she was a research assistant in studies on infant cognition.
She was inspired to be a speech-language pathologist after learning about Annie Sullivan, Helen Keller’s teacher.
