About:
Patricia Martin Mayro, MA, CCC-SLP is an Assistant Professor and a clinical educator at the Speech-Language Institute of Salus University. She has worked primarily in preschool early intervention and schools for children who are deaf or hard of hearing. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and audiology from Duquesne University and a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Temple University. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Trish is a member of several ASHA Special Interest Groups (SIGs 1, 11 and 16) and is a graduate of the ASHA 2017 Leadership Development Program with a project focused on developing clinical supervision resources in Pennsylvania. She has served as a Volunteer Outreach Coordinator for Apraxia Kids (2018-2020) and is a graduate of Apraxia Kids Intensive Training Workshop (“Bootcamp, 2018”). She is recognized by Apraxia Kids for advanced training and expertise in childhood apraxia of speech.
