About:

Dr. Higa received a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular/Molecular Biology at Pacific University. After earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Higa completed a Primary Care residency at The Eye Institute. 
 
Dr. Higa is a member of The Eye Institute’s professional staff within the Primary Care Department. Additionally; he is a member of the Beta Kappa Sigma Honor Society, Tomb and Key Honor Society, and Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Higa is also a ​Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
