Dr. Andrew Meagher is an assistant professor at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) working with residents & fourth year students in the glaucoma service and second & third year students in the primary care services. He is didacticly involved in the glaucoma and ophthalmic lasers courses for the traditional and scholars programs. Dr. Meagher received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedicial Sciences with a minor in Pharmacology/Toxicology from SUNY Buffalo. After earning his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2015 from PCO, he completed an Ocular Disease residency at The Eye Institute (TEI) in 2016 and a two-year glaucoma fellowship in 2020. He is a recognized Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a member of the Optometric Glaucoma Society and provides glaucoma focused lectures both a local and national level at annual conferences.
